Ingredients :-
For Tart Pastry
- 250g
unsalted butter
- 50g icing
sugar
- 2 egg yolk
- 360g plain
flour
- 2 tbsp
custard powder
- ¼ tsp salt
- Pineapple

Step :-
- Cream
butter and icing sugar until light
- Beat in
egg yolks, one at a time
- Add in
salt and beat until fluffy
- Fold in
sifted ingredients in batches and mixed into firm dough
- Leave
aside for 30 minutes
- Put the
dough into a pastry press/mould and then press out into a strip of 5cm length
- Place
pineapple filling at one end & roll up pastry, as enough to close the jam.
Do not overlap the
pastry. Cut off the excess pastry.

- Put the
rolls on the baking tray. Brush with egg white.
- Baked in
preheat oven (preheat at 160oC) for 15 minutes and turn the temp to
180oC for
2 minutes or until pastry turn golden brown.
- Leave cool
before storing
